"NEW BROWS" WITH BEAUTIFIED BROWS!

It amazes me every single day how powerful the social media is. Thanks to my "presence" there, I've got a chance to connect, meet and collaborate with some amazing brands, companies and individuals. Just this past summer I was approached on Instagram by Elissa Kim - super outgoing girl who does microblading and offers her services at Beautified Brows.

From the first message I received from her - I knew we are going to "click" right away as her manners and professionalism were "shining through".

After connecting back and forth, and meeting her in person at one of the events I was hosting/emceeing here in Calgary - I decided that I would like to give it a try and "test" Elissa skills by getting my eyebrows "microbladed" (I've done them in the past both in Calgary as well as when I was visiting home , back in Poland trying little bit different technique than microblading).

Before we scheduled visit with Elissa - I wanted to do some more research about her training and knowledge she has about brows. She received her certification in microblading through Dorxie Brows & Lashes in Calgary, being trained by Chandara who has over 10 years experience in lash extensions and microblading. But what really surprised me, Elissa is also a certified MAC Artist which gave me some answers about her passion for makeup,and precised eyebrows in particular as the make-up background has allowed her to shape eyebrows for all types of face shapes and skin tones.

In case you are familiar with tools/brands used for microblading - Elissa uses the highest quality ink called Microedge and Tina Davies blades to ensure the best possible results.

The entire procedure started with discussing the look I would like to achieve and having my eyebrows shaped/drawn by Elissa for approval. After she got my "green light" , Elissa applied numbing cream and I had to wait about 25minutes before we could even start the actual microblading procedure.

Once she started the microblading - I was feeling quite comfortable (with almost no pain) and that step seemed to be the quickest. So in case you were wondering about the timing, you should reserve about 2hours max for the entire appointment (that way you are not rushed).
