THE 2016 CALGARY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IS HAPPENING NOW!!

September is the month when after many fashion shows happening around the world as well as Canadian TIFF - there is also time for CIFF - Calgary International Film Festival.

It is a 12-day showcase of 200+ multi-genre feature and short films from Canada and over 40 other countries. The festival hosts gala events, screenings, special presentations, and a “Behind the Screen” series that emphasizes unique and exciting ways for filmmakers and fans to interact.

This year CIFF Opening Gala started with screening of "Maudie", with many guests in attendance, such as Director Aisling Walsh, Actress Kari Matchett and Producer Mary Young Leckie, as well as other special guests, including Robert Cuffley (CHOKESLAM), Shawn Potter (HEARTLAND), and Mark Tewksbury (Olympic Gold Medalist).

2016 WOMEN OF INSPIRATION AWARD!!

Last month I found out I have been nominated for a Women of Inspiration Award .

I was surprised yet very honoured to be among other amazing women who inspire the community of Calgary ( and not only) and are so dedicated to what they do.

This is an annual celebration hosted by the Canadian Business Chicks - with the final celebration on October 1st, 2016 when the finalists are going to be revealed:-)

I am super excited for the next week in Calgary as its the beginning of the annual Calgary International Film Festival!!

As always - everyone is looking for the opening gala (mark your calendar on September 21st!) and many amazing screenings happening this year!!!

...I had the pleasure of working with Ania as I prepared for a very important photo shoot. I found her make up skills to be amazing. I have had the opportunity to work with many make up artists and I found her to be fast efficient and precise. She was wonderful working with my features and made the whole experience wonderful.
