It is that time of a year when we all are done with Winter and waiting for Spring to arrive - and what is so interesting this year is the fact that first day of Spring is not that far away from the Easter weekend.
From my own experience (if you are wine lover:-) I know how tough it was for me to find that perfect bottle of wine to celebrate holidays with my loved ones....well until I've tried Yalumba Christobel’s Moscato.
The wine comes from Australia and if you haven't had a chance to hear about the name before - Yalumba is Australia’s oldest family owned and operated winery which was established in 1849.
It is operated by the Hill-Smith Family, located in the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
Christobel’s Moscato is named in honor of the late Christobel Hill Smith who was an integral part of the personality of Yalumba for over 60 years. Her vitality and charm bewitched all those around her that's why this is a dashing, lively, aromatic wine, and is reminiscent of its namesake, Christobel.
Yalumba Christobel’s Moscato is the perfect representation of spring and Easter (well - once you look at the bottle - the packaging says it all - with the fresh spring flowers, birds and butterflies).
The label is an excellent reflection of what is inside the bottle as the wine is 100% moscat - it is fragrant with floral notes and tropical fruits. On the palate it is fresh with tropical fruits and just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of effervescence to make it light and refreshing, pretty and elegant.
And...if you are concerned because you are vegan or vegetarian - well - don't worry - it's going to be perfect for you then!
Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do and...Happy Easter:-)
