Over a week ago I had a pleasure to attend Ecco Media/VIP opening celebrating store's launch at Chinook Centre in Calgary.
Renowned Danish footwear and accessories brand ECCO has opened a
new store in Calgary’s Chinook Centre. Officially opened in mid July and modeled after their
newest design concept, which first appeared in Vancouver, the store in Chinook Centre is the latest addition to the brand’s roster of North American stores.
The design generation known as “Unity Upgrade” serves as a representation of ECCO’s
Scandinavian roots.
Exemplifying the brands vision of flexibility, lightness, comfort and softness,
the finishes in the 1,300 square foot boutique include leather, oak, stainless steel and slate
stone. Bright white and contrasting grey walls provide a contemporary, timeless and inviting
atmosphere for guests as they peruse the nature-inspired FW15 collection.
Located in the corner centre court of the Chinook Centre, ECCO’s floor to ceiling glass façade showcases a unique suspended window display featuring the season’s top buys.
A natural slate stone feature wall that includes a brushed steel LED logo and 60” TV compliments the sleek new design and provides a look at the latest seasonal shoe styles and leather product offerings.
It was great afternoon where we couldn't miss some bubbles and delicious catering as well as thoughtful surprise - everyone from the media list received pair of beautiful white or black Soft 7's - a Fall leather shoe available in a high top, sneaker, slip on and tie on for men
and women. The Soft 7 is made from premium quality leather and ECCO’s unique Comfort Fibre System™. In addition to the Soft 7, designs known for their simplicity, fashionable elegance and timeless style are available in an array of sizes and colours.
